Abstract

The group of patients included in the study consisted of 107 patients with choledocholithiasis. In patients with calculous cholecystitis and choledocholithiasis it is advisable to perform hybrid operations using the proposed improved single-stage laparoscopic cholecystectomy with assisted endoscopic papillosphincterotomy by the Rendezvous technique and choledocholithoextraction. The improved technique of laparoscopic cholecystectomy with assisted endoscopic papillosphincterotomy is effective at a moderate risk of choledocholithiasis in 87.9% of observations, which is 18.9% higher than conventional endoscopic papillosphincterotomy, p = 0.035, and is accompanied by a 17.7% lower rate of papillosphincterotomy-associated complications, p = 0.017.
