Abstract
This article studies the impact of the mixed electoral system on the activity of political parties. The mixed electoral system, by applying several electoral methods at the same time, increases the competitiveness of parties and gives a new impetus to democratic processes. The article highlights how the mixed electoral system encourages political parties to participate actively and their role in shaping their political platforms. At the same time, it also examines what effects the mixed electoral system produces in the social and economic context.
