Abstract

Chronic kidney disease (CKD) significantly increases the risk of cardiovascular complications and death. Patients with CKD frequently present with endothelial dysfunction, which plays an important role in the development of cardiovascular complications. This article discusses the development of cardiovascular risk, the consequences of endothelial dysfunction, as well as the importance of early diagnosis and treatment strategies.
